This weekend I went to my aunt’s house in HIllsboro, TX, which is also the Windmill Bed & Breakfast. While I was there I decided to do something different with my video work. So I started shooting scenes around the property and wanted to edit it differently than normal. The result is this:
As if I wasn’t busy enough, I’ve gone and made my life even more busy. I’ve now started a t shirt company, with my buddy Jacob, with myself as the sole designer. The company is called Da Nation Apparel, based off of the popular ‘Who Dat Nation’, and pronounced like a deep southern Louisianian would pronounce ‘The’. The goal of the company is to make shirts that appeal deep down to people from Louisiana or live in Louisiana. It’s a since of pride and passion that we possess. So far it’s been an absolutely awesome response, and I greatly appreciate all the support. I have a ton of designs in the works and things are picking up steam. As most of you know, I love to engulf myself in all things creative. I came across a video on Devour today that did absolutely that. It features cartoonist John Kascht, as he shows his process of drawing Conan O’Brien. It’s amazing to see the lengths he goes to, simply to do a drawing of Conan. Everything from modeling clay, to sketches, and finally a painting. It’s truly inspiring. If you have 30 minutes of time, I highly recommend watching this. Enjoy.
Ya know, sometimes you just have to post something totally off the wall. That is today. I’m an animal lover so I felt like sharing this. The Aalborg Zoo in Denmark just welcomed a new Polar Bear cub to their family. Pretty awesome! Cute little bear. Only a matter of time until it’s a vicious killing machine.

Tuesday Inspiration is back after a brief vacation. Really, I just forgot to keep up with it. I apologize, it won’t happen again. I came across this via my buddy Henry McCoy, and I have to say, it floored me. This guy shoots all of his videos with a Canon 5DMKll on a Glidecam. That’s it. Check out the rest of his stuff on his YouTube channel. I got lost in his videos for hours last week. Amazing.
I stole this video from Greyscale Gorilla but I’m sure he won’t mind. This is a fantastic video to get the juices flowing again. I highly recommend that all creatives watch this!
