LSU Football Wallpaper
I made this, simply for fun. It’s unofficial and no money was made. I just wanted something to do with football. You guys can download it if you want. I don’t care. It’s 1900×1200. Enjoy. CANT WAIT FOR FOOTBALL!!!..

So EA released a behind the scenes video of the photoshoot for Madden 2012, done by my friend Tim Mantoani. They built a set in the middle of Times Square and allowed fans to come watch how it is all done. No pressure right? Very cool video. Excellent work Tim, as usual.

In the spirit of all the football design I have been showing, I wanted to blog another fun job that I did just for myself. This is a custom football card design I did of former LSU Tiger WR, Brandon LaFell. I used imagery that I shot, and the idea was to make the card look like a surreal water color painting. I really like how it turned out.

It’s that time of year again folks. The time of year when college football schedule posters start making their way online. It’s the time of year when the trash talking begins. Schedules get released, posters get compared and everyone gets fired up. In keeping with the Louisiana College marketing materials, I thought it would be a Friday treat to reveal their poster. I built this poster from the ground up, with custom graphics, custom photography, and custom logos. I’m more than happy with the outcome both for me, and for the fact that I’m helping a D3 school look like any major athletic program (if not better
. So here it is. Copy it. Show your friends. Spread the word. Get pumped up!!!
In the first of many designs that will be coming for Louisiana College, this is their 2011 Summer Workout Program cover. Weightlifting is intense. It’s gritty. It’s grimey. But there is also a new age attitude going on for the programs at Louisiana College. So I decided to give this cover a grungy, but modern design. Mixed it in with some new promotional photos I took for football (to be released soon). This design was met with overwhelming approval. I’m proud to be a part of the new spirit at Louisiana College. And I’m also proud to help bring their design and look to a level higher than any other Louisiana athletics program. The path is bright!
Around these parts, we do things pretty hands on. We obviously do our own designing, but when it comes to printing, mounting, laminiting, video display, etc…we are almost always on hand, personally, to make sure everything is up to par. This was this case for the Louisiana College campaign materials, that we put together for their 2011 presentation. I decided to do a little behind the scenes photo action over at Fine Line here in Ruston, to show how it goes down. Support your local printer/businesses. They’ll be there for you in the end, just like you should be for them!
Step 1: Printing

Step 2: Inspection

Step 3: Trim for mounting

Step 4: Prep for mounting

Step 5: Mount

Step 6: Trim excess (note that it is being trimmed by hand)

Step 7: Enjoy

Did I mention that this is just the proof? It’s the extra steps that we take here, even in the first stage(s) of the process, to ensure a quality product. This goes for any client. Above and beyond!
