LSU vs Xavier – Published

This one is extra special. It’s my third shot, sports-wise, to be published. But it’s my FIRST action shot to be published and my first on ESPN.com. So it’s pretty cool.

Well, Saturday was an awesome basketball game. Then #15 Xavier came to town to take on the Tigers. While LSU didn’t come away with the win, it was a classic battle. I won’t say much about this game. I’ll just let the images speak for themselves. I was really happy with the results.

I came into this game not really knowing what to expect. LSU had dropped a few games by now and everyone was talking about how great Mississippi State was supposed to be. I thought it may be close. If LSU won, I didn’t expect it to be by much. Boy was I wrong. The final was 81-57. I don’t know if everyone would consider it a blowout, but it was a solid beating. Here are the best from the game.

During halftime they presented the Chick Fil A Bowl trophy to the football team. It was pretty cool to be down on the floor close guys like Charles Scott and Brandon Lafell. I hope next year is better than this one. I’m optimistic.

Also at halftime, the LSU Tiger Girls performed their Hip-Hop routine that placed them at 2nd in Nationals. I’m not a dance guy. I know that’s hard to believe. But this dance was really impressive to me. Especially the part where the 2nd row came up behind the first row and covered their faces with their shirts. It was pretty cool.

It’s awesome to catch the guys at the peak of emotion.

It’s also something to catch them at the low points of their emotion. Like when Mississippi State knew the game was far out of reach.
