Two 365 Projects You Should Follow
With all of the new attention I’ve been receiving, has come comments and emails from places I would have never imagined. I just so happened to get two comments today from two people doing 365 projects. I love to watch artists grow and try new things and I will definitely be following these two.
1 – Chris Dickey. Apparently Chris is also a pilot. I looked through his images and he has a very impressive variety and a really good eye for this. Definitely follow him. He is going places. CLICK HERE.
2 – Valena David. Wow, two great amateur photographers in one day. Valena also happens to work at the amazing play I posted about in the previous post, Fuerza Bruta. She is really amazing too. You should also definitely follow her as well. CLICK HERE.
Guys, 365 projects are nothing to take lightly. I tried once and it literally lasted 3 days. So keep up with these guys. Shoot them a line and offer words of encouragement. I want to see them reach their goals and become great photographers. Also, Chris and Valena, shoot me an email anytime you want. I’ll respond without a doubt.

wow its so interesting to hear an outsider’s perspective – especially a photographer – of NYC. You see it so differently than I do – through your camera lens and your tourist eyes. You’re in wonderment and I’m mostly in annoyed hurried mode missing all the great opportunities to shoot something cool. It was a very short time frame for me when I got here – maybe 2 weeks from when I moved here and to when I found a job. I should have taken more advantage of that time to really look at the city.
Next time you’re here I hope it’s longer. Would be great to go around the city with you and our cameras. Definitely need to get you to Central Park or Brooklyn/Harlem. You would love the architecture and textures.

You’re a good guy to do this. It inspired me to add a special section in my blog called “365 projects to follow” (though I doubt my blog gets much attention). I’m reluctant to enter my website info as I don’t want to make this about me or have others think I’m trying to draw attention.

ps…Hey, don’t take this the wrong way, but it’s really been exciting reading about your experiences lately. It’s really amazing how Scott’s decision to bring you into his wing has indirectly rippled throughout and touched the hearts of people like me. Scott’s blog led me to your blog, which led me to Valena’s blog which in turn inspired me to continue the aspiration of my own sports and portrait photography. Your reciprocity is probably reaching farther than you know.
