Hello Matt,

I saw Phillip Toledano's blog a while ago and it was so moving to me. In revisiting it today, I thought about my grandfather who passed away two weeks ago today and how I wished I'd taken pictures of his last few years while he lived close by in struggling with cancer and alzheimers.

It is a constant reminder to enjoy what life has to offer and to spend time with those you love as you never know when your time is up.

I wanted to say that I came in contact with your blog through the journey you recently went on with Scott Kelby. What an honor that must be and I hope you continue to produce great photography as you have the talent to go very far with it. If only I could be half as good as you then I would be a happy man.

Keep up the great work and look forward to your future posts.

Phillip Toledano is amazing. I found his website while reading an article on Melanie Flood (melaniefloodprojects.com) somewhere. Extremely interesting projects, and a very touching series with his father. It made me think of my own grandparents! And good luck Matt with your new found verve due to all this exposure you are getting!
