Michael Jackson
It finally hit me today. I’m very very sad. Today, the memorial for Michael Jackson was held. I figured I would watch a minute or so, but not so. I watched it all. I was glued to it. I teared up. While watching this, I realized the great impact Michael Jackson had on my life…especially my youth. There was no direct impact. No song single handedly changed me. But I remember countless times listening to his music with my mother. I remember riding on road trips with my cousin Chris, listening to Bad. So many times I tried to moonwalk, grab my crotch and spin around. Every single memory I have of this man, and any event of my life relating in some way to him was absolutely positive. Until today. I will miss Michael Jackson. I don’t care what anyone says, this man touched everyone. Everyone on Earth. We will never have a person do this in our lifetime again. We lost someone special. And I say again….I am sad. Rest in peace Michael.

I think Michael was so misjudged and misunderstood. His life was a complete tragedy. However, I do hope that everyone will remember the good in Michael’s life. He had a positive impact on practically everyone. He touched us with his music and dance, but helped heal this world through charity.
He was truly an amazing person and an icon. We have lost our last living legend.
