Giant Snowball Fail

Today, while walking the Louisiana Tech campus, I ran into Donald Page who was photographing a group of students who had made a giant snowball.  So instead of shooting along with him, I decided to video them attempting to roll it down a hill.  It went a little something like this….

Snow In Ruston

Well this did and didn’t take me by surprise.  I knew it was supposed to snow, it started snowing lastnight, yet when I woke up to take the dog out, I had to do a double take as to what I saw out of my front door.  It’s really quite beautiful and peaceful.  I may add more pics as the day goes.  Or I might just sit here and do nothing.  Only time will tell.

Shout Out To Donald Page

A big congrats goes out to my buddy Donald Page.  The first one of us to make Sports Illustrated in print with a full page shot of Pierre Thomas.  High five.  Much deserved.  You can see Donald’s work at his site here.

John Wall and the UK Show

I had the opportunity to shoot John Wall and the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend when they came to Baton Rouge to take on LSU. Needless to say, it wasn’t much of a game after the first 10 minutes. John Wall is clearly, every bit as good as the experts say he is. I was highly impressed with the entire Kentucky operation. They even held an impromptu slam dunk contest with themselves before the game. They are my pick to win it all, and after the game I saw, I hope they do.

Redeemed – Who Dat? – Ben Boutwell

Ben Boutwell, Tech alum, strikes again.  This video was brought to my attention the other day.  There is a lot of Saints craziness going on, and well deserved.  But in my opinion, this is the best fan made Saints video or song (those are popping up too), hands down.  You can see more of Ben’s work here. With that said, let’s get to this amazing video:

Credit: Craig Turner for the poetics and acting. (thanks for the heads up KB)
